This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in the People's Republic of China standard GB/T 4507 Determination of Softening Point of Petroleum Asphalt and the People's Republic of China industry standard JTG E20-2011 Test Specification for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixture in Highway Engineering T 0606-2011 Asphalt Softening Point Test (Universal Method). It is applicable to the determination of softening point of various types of asphalt such as road petroleum asphalt, coal tar asphalt, liquid petroleum asphalt, etc, It is the preferred instrument for asphalt production enterprises, highway and bridge construction units, universities and research institutions.

This instrument can also be used to test the softening point of resin products.

1. The instrument is a small desktop structure, which adopts microcomputer control, linear heating and automatic mixing. The measurement results are accurate and reliable, and the test results are automatically displayed after the test.

2. The beaker is made of high-temperature resistant glass, and the heating rate, steel ball positioning ring, steel ball and other specifications meet the requirements specified in the standard.

3. The water bath is equipped with an automatic mixing device, which uses a digital tube to display the time and temperature, and can test two samples at the same time, which is convenient and reliable.
