This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the industrial standard of the People's Republic of China JTG E20-2011 "Test Specification for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixture in Highway Engineering" T 0620-2000 "Asphalt Dynamic Viscosity Test (Vacuum Pressure Reducing Capillary Method)" and the petrochemical industry standard of the People's Republic of China SH/T 0557-1998 "Petroleum Asphalt Viscosity Determination Method (Vacuum Capillary Method)".

This instrument is applicable to the determination of the dynamic viscosity of viscous petroleum asphalt by vacuum decompression capillary viscometer. Unless otherwise specified, the test temperature is 60 ºC and the vacuum degree is 300 mmHg.  (-40KP±0.06KP)

This instrument is also applicable to other substances with vacuum capillary method, test temperature of 60 ºC, vacuum degree of 300 mmHg (40 kpa) and viscosity of 0.0036~20.000 Pa.s.
