The instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of T0631 Asphalt Float Test in the national industry standard JTJ052 Test Specification for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixture in Highway Engineering.
It is applicable to the determination of the floatation degree of the residue after distillation of slow-setting liquid petroleum asphalt, coal tar pitch and other materials.
