1, This method specifies the test method for determining the asphalt content in asphalt mixtures using a reflux extractor.

2, This method is suitable for detecting the amount of asphalt used in asphalt pavement construction to evaluate construction quality, as well as for detecting the amount of asphalt used in old road surveys. But for coal tar pavement, original measurement data of free carbon content of coal tar is required.

3, Equipment and materials: The reflux asphalt extractor consists of a water condenser, an extraction cylinder, a copper mesh screening bucket, an outer sleeve, and a heat source

The reflux extractor is used for reflux extraction to determine asphalt content in bituminous pavement mixtures. It consists of a metal condenser, an extraction jar, 2 copper wire mesh cones, a metal frame and a hot plate.

It is suitable for testing the amount of asphalt used in asphalt pavement construction to evaluate the construction quality. It is also suitable for detecting the amount of asphalt on asphalt pavement in old road surveys. However, for coal asphalt pavement, original measurement data of the free carbon content of coal asphalt is required.
